If you can help me expand my whisky palate, especially Auchentoshan, get in touch with me. Much obliged!

Distiller's Art is a new series by Langside Distillers (which is part of
Hunter Laing), which releases single cask bottlings. So far there
have been an Allt-a-Bhainne, Blair Athol, Braeval, Clynelish,
Craigellachie, Fettercairn, Glenburgie, Inchgower, Mortlach,
Speyside and now this Auchentoshan. The single casks are all
released at a strength of 48%.
Light, clean nose on citrus, grass, malt, grain cookies with a hint of
effervescent tablet, bubblegum and buttercups. Some vanilla
ice-cream. Classic Toshan on bourbon, nothing more, nothing less.
Slightly oily on the palate. A bit of pepper and some ginger, but also
oak, precede citrus (mostly peel), vanilla, heather honey and barley
sugar. Becomes honeysweet. Dangerously quaffable. Reminds me
somewhat of Fanta Lemon, but with a hammer, obviously.
The finish is rather short. Gone before you realise it.
Very easy Toshan, not to be pondered but to be sipped in the sun, while
listening to the chirping birds.
