If you can help me expand my whisky palate, especially Auchentoshan, get in touch with me. Much obliged!

Prelude to a stunner
I tasted this at the distillery during our visit there.
The nose is rife with white fruits and a touch of mint and beeswax, but vanilla is very prominent as well. Giving it a few minutes will allow the whisky to develop beautifully in the glass, adding new and old leather as well as caramel to the nose.
A mixture of stewed and dried fruits elevates the palate to stellar heights, mildly spiced with black pepper. This is a very entertaining Toshan.
The finish is lingering on stewed fruits.
I cannot wait for this beauty to be bottled!
UPDATE 12/2012 :
This one is
very similar to the now bottled limited edition beauty
